Reopening Safety Guidelines (English | En Español)

All FirstLine students in grades PreK-4th have the option to return to in-person learning. We will stagger start for students’ return to school buildings by grade level as follows:

3rd and 4th grade: Monday, September 21st

1st and 2nd grade:  Tuesday, September 22nd

Kindergarten:  Wednesday, September 23rd

Pre-K: Thursday, September 24th

All Discovery / self-contained students (Pre-K-8) will come back during the September 20th – September 25th window as well, but each school will determine when based on staffing capacity and will contact families individually to make arrangements for return and transportation. Middle school students will continue doing distance learning at least until October 12th. We will await direction from NOLA-PS as to whether 5th-8th graders will return to buildings after that date.
