Schools Showcase Growth in Latest SPS Scores

The state has released the 2024 SPS scores. While we have not yet reached our Widely Important Goal of getting all FirstLine schools to a “C” by 2025, the growth demonstrated across the board is an indication that we are on our way!

Here are a few important things to celebrate:

• All of our schools are outperforming the district in growth, an average that includes the scores of selective schools across the city. 
• All of our schools received an “A” for progress. 
• Ashe, Green, and LHA have all been named “Top Gains” schools by the Louisiana Department of Education.

We are very proud of the hard work of our staff to ensure students are engaged in learning and achieving their goals. Our task now will be to build on that success so we may focus on raising absolute scores.
