Our 2024 was filled with lots of events and celebrations across the FirstLine network.
We believe New Orleans can be the first city in America where every child goes to a great school.
Our schools will prepare students for college, fulfilling careers, and a healthy life by nurturing students in mind, body, and spirit.
FirstLine Schools is a network of four public charter schools educating pre-kindergarten through 8th-grade students.

Edible Schoolyard & Arthur Ashe celebrated another amazing Sweet Potato Festival this October! With picture perfect weather, our FirstLine & ESYNOLA families and staff came together for a parade, complete with lively walkers and the Ashe band’s upbeat tunes.
Rebekah came to FirstLine Schools in 2011 from the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Prior to her time with the Red Cross, Rebekah had ten years experience in operations and relationship management: first at the Smithsonian Institution and later at a wholesale tourism company. Rebekah spent over three years as FirstLine’s Director of Development and Communication, four years as FirstLine’s Director of Operations, and two years as Executive Director of Operations before becoming the Chief Operating Officer in July 2020. Rebekah currently acts as FirstLine’s Director of Food Service, leads on risk management and manages the Data, IT, Facilities & Transportation departments. She volunteered in a leadership capacity for two dog rescue organizations in Washington, DC, Boston, and New Orleans over a nine-year period. Rebekah has a Master’s Degree from The George Washington University.
