All FirstLine Schools participate in the NOLA-PS Common Application Process (NCAP). Our schools are public, tuition-free schools and are open to all residents of New Orleans with a scholar in grades Pre-K – 8.

The 2026-27 NOLA-PS Common Application Process (NCAP) for K-12th grade is open from November 3, 2025 to January 23, 2026. The Early Childhood window for Pre-K will open on January 5, 2026 and close on February 20, 2026. You can learn more about this application and apply here.

K-12 families new to NOLA-PS seeking a school for this year (2025-26) must visit one of the NOLA-PS Family Resource Centers to enroll. Families seeking to transfer from a NOLA-PS school to a different school in the district must initiate the transfer process at the student’s current school.
